Oh you know just reading and napping with my pups Oh you know just reading and napping with my pups on this Friday afternoon 🀣🐢! Lol.. .. The absolute best part about this quarantine is slowing down, having the time to read a book, snuggle my pups, spend quality time with those I love, and simply doing nothing 🀣. It’s reeeeeaaaally nice not having to be somewhere all the time! And even though I didn’t completely stop working during this thing, I’m working a whole lot less and I think I’m going to keep it that πŸ˜‰. The only thing keeping me sane during this quarant The only thing keeping me sane during this quarantine πŸ„β€β™€οΈπŸ€£.. .. I’ve had a ton of people asking if we can still surf in Hawaii? And yes we sure can! Thankfully they didn’t stop us from surfing or doing anything in the ocean (swimming, fishing, etc) and hopefully they won’t EVER restrict it. If we can all crowd into a Walmart, Target or grocery store I think we can maintain our distance out in nature?! Where we can be free from stress, and uplift our spirits during this trying time! Thoughts?.. .. I think I’ve surfed more during this quarantine then I have in a long time, the waves have been solid and of course I had to break In my new board 😍. My happy place for sure! Last night was the first time I put on mascara in Last night was the first time I put on mascara in almost 2 months πŸ€ͺ and surprisingly I’m SO okay with that πŸ€”..When this quarantine started I have to admit, It was hard for me! But somehow this has become the new norm and I don’t want it to change now! Lol..Okay well maybe I would like to go for happy hour at a restaurant again 🀣 but slowing down and not having so many obligations has been really freeing!. .. Everyone’s situation is different obviously, but if this time has taught me anything it’s that the world can change in unpredictable ways at any moment and we have no choice but to change with it. The only thing we can control is how we approach the change, with a fresh perspective, an appreciation for what’s most important in life. Things will be different for everyone from here on out, but different isn’t always bad. We all need a little down time.
